I didn't leave my career because I was unhappy.

In fact, everything was going exactly to plan.

For nearly twenty years, I worked at the heart of the European Commission. I passed the competitive exams early, managed complex financial tools, and shaped policy. I was trained to lead under pressure and make decisions when the stakes were high.

I had the leadership training. I did the mindfulness courses. I checked every professional box.

But then, I found the one tool that changed everything.

It didn't come from a textbook or a boardroom. It happened through something we do 20,000 times a day, but rarely with intention: the breath.

Within minutes, the mental noise simply stopped. I was already good at my job. What changed was the noise. It went quiet. Everything got clearer. Quicker. Easier to carry.

I chose to step away from the Commission, to follow a calling I couldn't ignore anymore: guiding people back to themselves. That's when Yasser and I founded The Breathwork Club.

Alongside everything the Commission had already taught me about holding people through pressure, I trained formally for years in psychology, bodywork and somatic therapy. That grounding sits underneath everything we offer.

Breath was where it started. It wasn't where it stayed. It's the door, not the whole house.

Behind it, we help people rewrite the old patterns and beliefs running their lives. For couples, that work goes as deep as they're ready for, including tantra. For those ready to go further still, we guide plant medicine journeys. These are adult spaces, built for the people doing this work on themselves and each other.

Family is a different room entirely, and just as central to what we do. Picture play fights on the living room floor, hands covered in clay, a family laughing until someone falls over. That's not the warm-up. That's the work. We teach kids they can feel everything, and say so, out loud, without it turning into a big serious moment. We live this with our own kids, every day. We hold space for other families who want that same joy, and are ready to laugh their way into it, together.

For too long, we have treated well-being like a luxury, a bowl of fruit in the office, a free app subscription. We see it differently. We see this work as essential infrastructure, for leaders under pressure, for couples who've drifted apart, for families who want to stay close on purpose.

Today, The Breathwork Club holds all of it. Corporate sessions and Untamed. Couples and family retreats. Our Love and Passion course. Plant medicine journeys for those called to go deeper. One-to-one work for anyone who needs it. Wherever the pressure is real, this belongs.

Because when the pressure is on, your breath is your greatest strength. Everything else, we build from there.
